Title: Marketing Coordinator (Full-time)
Pay: $16-$20/hour (depending on experience), along with a strong benefits package
Location: Mission/San Antonio, TX

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)

Job Summary
B2Z Engineering, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts. This full-time, entry-level position is based in Mission, TX, and is ideal for candidates with a background in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with proposal development (RFQs/RFPs), content creation, brand management, and coordination of conferences and industry events. This role offers hands-on experience in the engineering and professional services industry, along with opportunities for travel, networking, and professional growth while working directly with the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Proposal Support

  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and production of proposals, qualifications, and presentations (RFQs/RFPs)
    Maintain and update proposal materials, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Support compliance with solicitation requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinate with technical staff to gather project information and content

Content & Communications

  • Assist with creating and updating marketing materials such as brochures and project sheets
  • Support social media planning, posting, and engagement
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and internal communications

Brand & Asset Management

  • Ensure consistency with B2Z Engineering’s brand standards across all materials
  • Maintain organized marketing files, templates, and databases

Event & Outreach Support

  • Assist with planning and coordination of conferences, client events, and community outreach
  • Prepare promotional materials and coordinate logistics
  • Travel to attend events (including same-day and occasional overnight trips)
  • Support event setup, materials preparation, and on-site coordination

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Marketing
  • Maintain organized marketing files and databases
  • Assist with scheduling, calendars, and task tracking

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both laboratory and field testing and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory testing on construction materials, including concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates, in accordance with applicable specifications and testing procedures.
  • Perform field testing, sampling, and inspections at active construction projects as needed.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and testing requirements to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Accurately document and report test results using laboratory records and project tracking systems.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

B2Z Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Administrative Assistant to support our Houston Construction Materials Testing (CMT) laboratory. This position provides administrative support to laboratory and field personnel, assists with technician dispatching, prepares reports and documentation, and helps ensure compliance with laboratory accreditation requirements.

  • Organize technician certifications and maintain training records.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Assist laboratory management with administrative requests.
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support to laboratory staff and visitors.
