B2Z Engineering has the facilities and expertise to provide Construction Material Testing (CMT) services for civil and transportation projects. Our team includes experienced former TxDOT employees who possess extensive first-hand knowledge of CMT programs, procedures, scopes of work and testing requirements.
We adhere to industry standards including AASHTO, ASTM, and TxDOT specifications for soils, bases, aggregates, asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) and concrete materials. Our CMT services help ensure compliance with project specifications, improve structural integrity and enhance the durability of construction materials.
Evaluating soil properties to ensure a stable foundation.
Assessing material quality for roadway and structural applications. .
Measuring the strength, durability and performance of concrete structures.
Ensuring proper mix design, compaction and performance for long-lasting pavement.
Providing accurate, real-time results to inform construction decisions.
With the necessary tools, personnel, and expertise, B2Z delivers reliable and precise CMT services to support project quality assurance and compliance.
B2Z Engineering’s state-of-the-art construction material testing labs are equipped with advanced technology, including high-precision universal testing machines (UTMs) for strength analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT) tools such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV), automated sieves for soil and aggregate gradation, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers for chemical composition testing, and high-performance environmental chambers to simulate real-world conditions.
