Title: Marketing Coordinator (Full-time)

Job Summary
B2Z Engineering, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts. This full-time, entry-level position is based in Mission, TX, and is ideal for candidates with a background in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with proposal development (RFQs/RFPs), content creation, brand management, and coordination of conferences and industry events. This role offers hands-on experience in the engineering and professional services industry, along with opportunities for travel, networking, and professional growth while working directly with the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Proposal Support

  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and production of proposals, qualifications, and presentations (RFQs/RFPs)
    Maintain and update proposal materials, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Support compliance with solicitation requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinate with technical staff to gather project information and content

Content & Communications

  • Assist with creating and updating marketing materials such as brochures and project sheets

Bridge Construction Inspector

Position Summary

B2Z Engineering is seeking a Bridge Construction Inspector to support TxDOT bridge construction projects throughout the Greater Houston Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge or roadway construction inspection and demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound field judgment, and a commitment to quality and safety.

This position will work closely with B2Z’s project team, TxDOT representatives, contractors, and materials testing personnel to inspect construction activities and document compliance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect bridge construction activities, including foundations, reinforcing steel, formwork, concrete placement, beams, bridge decks, bearings, joints, and bridge rails.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, approved submittals, and applicable project requirements.
  • Evaluate materials and workmanship for compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare accurate daily inspection reports, photographs, quantity measurements, and supporting project documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, contractors, TxDOT representatives, and materials testing personnel.
  • Communicate construction deficiencies promptly and document the completion of corrective actions.
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with project safety requirements and report observed concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Maintain organized and accurate field records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Travel to project locations throughout the Greater Houston Area as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in bridge, roadway, or heavy civil construction inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, drawings, and approved submittals.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective documentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with contractors and project personnel.
  • Ability to work outdoors at active construction sites and in varying weather conditions.

Engineering Technician

Position Summary

B2Z Engineering is seeking an Engineering Technician to support our engineers in preparing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) packages for TxDOT, counties, cities, and other municipalities.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with experience in civil engineering drafting and plan production. Experience using both MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineers in developing PS&E packages for transportation and civil infrastructure projects.

  • Use MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer to prepare and revise plan sheets, layouts, profiles, cross sections, details, and other project drawings under the direction of project engineers.

  • Incorporate engineering markups and review comments while maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout plan sets.

  • Prepare drawings in accordance with applicable B2Z, TxDOT, and client drafting standards.

  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, estimate preparation, drawing reviews, and quality-control checks.

  • Organize project drawings, files, and supporting documentation to help ensure accurate and timely submittals.

  • Coordinate with engineers and other project team members to address revisions and meet project deadlines.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for civil engineering drafting and plan production.
