Dicker Road

Client: Hidalgo County Precinct No. 2

B2Z was contracted to perform Construction Management, Inspection and Material Testing for the Dicker Road Project. This project consists of the reconstruction of the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided urban roadway consisting of grading, curb and gutter, lime treated subgrade, flexible base, asphaltic concrete paving, storm sewer, culvert structures, two bridge widenings, sidewalks with ADA ramps, signing, pavement markings and traffic signals. The new Dicker Road pavement section will provide for two more additional travel lanes of traffic, a continuous left turn lane, curb and gutter, bridge widenings, storm sewers and sidewalks for the length of the project to improve mobility, improve drainage and provide a safe route to school. The project is approximately 2.53 miles long, beginning at Spur 115 (23rd Street) and ending at FM 2061 (Jackson Road).
